Wayne began his racing career in 1994 and has enjoyed it for the most part since, and he always said “it’s the best place to raise children”, a few of which are now involved. Wayne has built a ranch for this very reason, so the kids have their choice of horses out of a stock of 45 head. Wayne’s most memorable moment occurred in 2009 at Batoche where a “birthday race” was held for him and his son Harry in Chuckwagons. He lost this race to his son but it was an event he hoped would take place to instill future endeavors for Harry a memory he considers his best.
